Flute Care

Healing Flutes are very easy to maintain.  The most important factor is the placement of the fetish or block.  It must be flat in the channel and just behind the front air hole to work properly.

If you play the flute for an extended period of time it may stop working.  This is because of water accumulation under the fetish or block.  If this happens, the fetish should be removed and dried out.  Then replace as above.

All healing flutes are coated with fully cured polyurethane both inside and out.  This allows you to clean the blow hole and channel with alcohol.  Simply occlude the rear hole, pour alcohol down the blow hole and agitate.  Drain out the alcohol and allow to dry.  Then reassemble.
